Are they going to be the guests that don’t leave?
I have been encouraging the birds into our yard with bird baths.
BUT.....my fragile lettuce & baby spinach were being pulled up leaf by leaf. Seeds I plant were pinched as soon as there little head peep up above the ground.
So we put tree branches over the lettuce & baby spinach which seems to be working, there recovering well.
If you have any ideas you use to protect your precocious veggie patch, please share them with us, I know I could sure use the advice J
